Meet Dr. Sachdeva
Registered Psychologist
I am a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia with over 16 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families with learning, developmental, emotional, and mental health challenges. I provide comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological assessments for ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, anxiety and mood disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I have extensive experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment, including 11 years with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, as well as experience in provincial hospitals and private practice. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and informed by developmental and neurodiversity-informed perspectives, with a focus on understanding each child's unique strengths and needs and providing practical recommendations to support their success.

Education & Professional Affiliations
I hold an Honours degree in Psychology, a Master's degree, and a Doctorate in Developmental Psychology. I also completed postdoctoral research in Child Psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia, supported by an Endeavour Fellowship. My research focused on factors influencing anxiety in children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Throughout my career, I have lectured at colleges and universities, published research articles and book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences.
I am a registrant of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia, the regulatory body that ensures psychologists meet established standards of training and professional practice.
Outside the Office
I live in Langley, BC with my husband and have two adult children. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with family, hiking, travelling, and exploring the beautiful landscapes of British Columbia.
